Vote for Peter(!)
There's a guy at work (he's American) who changes his name depending on with whom he is talking. If you're his co-worker and you speak English, his name is Richard. If you speak Español (or Ethpañol in his case), his name is Ricardo. I thought he was the only one who does this, but this is a fairly common occurance. Someone else at work knows a guy who goes by Micheal or Miguel, depending on the language you speak. You shouldn't have to translate your name. IT'S YOUR NAME!
Does this seem wrong to anyone else? I don't think they understand the ramifications of this if this were to get around. Suddenly, there would be a lot more Joes and Marys in the United States and no one would know why, except for me.
