The guy who reviewed the movie musical for RENT liked it, believe it or not. I'm sure, though, "gut-wrentching" probably isn't the best description to use if you were going to recommend this film to anyone.

That sentance alone makes it sound like watching this movie is like eating 10,000 bean burritos and paying for it the next day. Now that's "raw and poignant." Who wants to see it now? I feel some gut-wrentching coming on.
